Yaoi Reader's: What is something you love in yaoi or Shounen Ai?
I for one love cute jealous moments, where one of the partners is like "excuse me he's mine hands off ladies!" It's super cute! Sadly I have only ever seen it a few times. What about you?
Some of my weaknesses:
- When childhood friends realize they have romantic feelings for one another
- When a character who doesn't usually wear glasses puts them on to read or study and the other guy finds it attractive
- When a strict character starts falling in love with a more playful/carefree character and vice-versa 1 reply
One thing I love is when the relationship does not start off with rape and instead both are consenting. I also love me some jealous semes, and childhood friends turned lovers. reply
When the uke say something cute and the seme start blushing. That's when you know the character fall for each other too. For me, blushing is important lol I get frustrated if I read 10+ chapters and one of them still hasn't blushed. 1 reply

I love it when seme is jealous when uke is getting friendly with other guys, uke who is fighting with seme during sex, and also dorky semes lol. I like it when uke is not just a sex doll for seme like he can stand up for himself and can make seme suffer if he can. Viva badass ukes ヾ(☆▽☆) reply
I think one of my greatest weaknesses, are when the ship does not realise, or have not developed feelings for eachother yet. To follow the pair slowly fall in love can almost make my own heart flutter with the feeling of a first crush. Especially if their first kiss, are sort of awkward is hella cute to me. 1 reply
I'm totally biased by the Misaki /Usagi duo of Nakamura-sensei's Junjou Romantica. They instinctively understand that the other fills the gap/void that had been there and once they work out the major bugs, they work well together. I won't lie : I very much prefer the manga because it shows better, I think, the true depth of how similar these tw...... reply
