Hmm because of the storyline and how the yaoi characters get to the point (doesn't have to be sex~ kissing is cute too :3) without taking forever. It isn't boring (I love the variety) and doesn't take long until they confess or start their relationships. For me, it's because I mostly dislike women, especially how they're portrayed in anime/manga. I don't like the shy/clumsy types, I don't like the super bossy types, and I can't stand when they're drawn with gigantic breasts that is just anatomically impossible.
Now, I do enjoy Ouran High School Host Club and Wallflower, but not much else. 2 reply
For me, it's because there's more romance in yaoi rather than shoujo. Sometimes, shoujo makes women to be weak and in need of help all the time. It gets really annoying. Not all women are like that. Plus, yaoi has more fluffy romance that doesn't involve a human incapable of thinking on its own. 2 reply
A good story line and sex scene but if the story line sucks to me I absolutly won't finish I don't care if it gets good at the end if in the begining i think its suck, I won't finish it. I think the relationships are all really cute. The way they love each other and go after each other and NEVER GIVE UP ON THE OTHER (that is unheard of irl). Usually what makes me enjoy yaoi is when the plot isn't so shallow. When the plot, cliche, but the author is able to build around it with detail and make it a different experience from the previous cliche plot. I want depth in everything.
