I dislike them, contrary to the answer in regards to maths competitions below ahaha. In the school that I go to, taking a nationwide maths competition - I think perhaps yearly, is compulsory for all extension and advanced maths students. You could almost say that I fear maths competitions; with every coming year, I am increasingly scared to see the results that I would receive in response. Of course, taking the competition included. I think I have may have an obsession with being intelligent, or maybe everyone does feel that way. The fear of becoming inferior to others plagues me whenever competitions or tests come, it's becoming an obstacle to my confidence.
