My first pet are lovebirds

I only recall a bit of my memory when my dad came home with a cage of lovebirds the female one was yellow and the male one was a bit of like...I don't know what they call it..um..pistachio green? (I think)
Let's stop talking about rainbows and unicorns.
The yellow one was vicious, she kept pecking at me like it was none of my business to change the newspaper filled with their dirt...well I was young then so I thought she hated me so I was sad....and it's not like there was a zoologist in my house that would say "That's normal, don't be sad, maybe she doesn't want you near her eggs" and it was true since they have a little nest (My dad bought it as a decor we didn't knew it would be really used to lay eggs) and there was this cute tiny egg that suddenly broke the nest day...My favorite lovebird was the pistachio green. He was so cute and he was the opposite of the vicious yellow witch that resides in the same cage with him. But he's lazy and poops like crazy like, we have to change it 4 times a week which is suprising considering they're small but they're not hard to handle which is why my dad brought home another set of lovebirds...
