i don't understand the people who look into detail in the manga. I remember when my friend told me that *an anime* is boring. she only watched the first episode though (￣へ￣) that's stupid if you ask me, you can't judge an anime from it's first episode. unless you read the manga or something.
I'm very picky. I don't give up after 1 or two episodes/chapters but if the story can't spark my interest I will drop it. Otherwise I get the feeling of trashing my brain. If I'm not doing anything useful than at least I try to read/watch something that enriches my world even if just a little bit.

I started with only ever watching anime. For a good five years I ran through anime after anime and I think that puts me in a position where I can say that a LARGE majority of anime are not exactly "captivating" from just watching one episode. I only watched anime at first, then a while after I tried reading a manga but it was really boring to me.
Didn't try to read manga again until one of my online friends said I should give manga another chance so I did and I'm glad.
I think manga is actually better because I can go at my own pace and while watching anime I have to sit there like "....... reply
Well, before I used to watch almost every anime, but you know, when you watch thousand of them, normaly become more selective. And yes, I refused to continue an anime if don't find interesting the first chapter, some times inclusive in the first 10 minutes. From my own point of view, looking in detail into the manga is really important. I just can't read a manga that has some sort of something that I don't like. For example, most of the manga I read is yaoi, and I HATE, like really hate with all my heart the characters that look like girls with penises, I like my men to look like men, even if they are...... reply
That's indeed stupid to say that an Anime is boring just by watching only a clip, or an episode of it... I'm always okay with either reading a Manga or watching an Anime (though I mostly read manga) as long as the story is able to captivate me~ reply
Yep! Throw some random anime or manga in my face and I'll definitely watch/read it. I love all sorts of anime (apart from Boku no Pico) and manga and am willing to read/watch anything. reply
