I've shaved my head 3 times :) The first two times were after a mental break down, the third time was because I was tired of having hair...now I have soft, shoulder length hair that I love to take care of! My family has often commented on how they use my hair as a way to see my mental state at the time.

Back in middle school I *really* wanted to, but couldn't afford having someone do it for me so I had to rely on one of my brothers, but dad pretty much threatened him to keep me from going fully shaved.
In the end I just ended up getting it cut really short :P 1 reply
I have trichotillomania and because of that , I have bald spots all over my head :/
And really , I've considered many time to shave my head so that I can try to have a new start but I was always scared that people would find it weird... 4 reply
I've been shaving my head since 2013 xD I like it. I don't have to manage my hair that much. Though there are rare times when I would miss having long hair, but then I'll just wear a wig that day LOL. It's fun and I get many compliments from people for having the balls to do it and they also say I look nice with it. It's really all just about havin...... reply
