I look for ones that have a lot of chapters and where the characters fall for each other within a normal time frame. None of that 'its love at first sight for both of us and we lived happily ever after' stuff. Though I will admit that slow romance really bugs me. Basically, I look for a good, balanced timeline for their feelings to develop. I also......   reply

I'd try to offer a solution, but even if I had one we would both still be here anyway, lol. Manga is super addictive, especially when you find the right genre, and this site is the best that I've ever found of its kind, so..... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ You're probably gonna be checking this site for the rest of your life just like the rest of us, roflma......   1 reply

Straight (?) and asexual. Also quite possibly aromantic. I like the idea of love, but I'm 24 and I've never had a crush (not even a celebrity one) or fallen in love. I'm really not that interesting though...   3 reply

I was 21 or 22. Up to that point, I actively avoided yaoi, not because of personal opinions or prejudices, but because the genre just wasn't my cup of tea... Then I discovered Yamamoto Kotetsuko and have since done a 180. Yaoi is pretty much all I read now. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭   3 reply

Rutta to Kodama would be super cute! Ten Count. Definitely. It's, like, my favorite yaoi ever... Also, Honto Yajuu would be really funny!   1 reply

I'd only rate about a 1 for yuri though. I'm not all that interested in two girls getting it on... Though I am more than happy to read yaoi. I'd be at least a 9 or 10 for yaoi. What can I say? It gets pretty sexy. Only my best friend knows I read 'gay manga' though. My family would probably disown or institutionalize me if they found out... And I c......   4 reply

I'm a mix of dandere and kuudere. I know it sounds weird, but it's true. I really like the interactions between tsundere characters and their love interests. I will say, though that I don't think I could handle a tsundere irl. I like the deredere types as long as they're actually smart and not too airheaded. I feel like a lot of them are... I feel like religion itself can be good. It gives you a set of standards and a reason to hope for something better down the road. I don't like it when members (of any faith) put on 'holier than thou' attitudes towards anyone who believes differently or throw people under the bus for stupid past mistakes. Also, some religions can be very cliquish wh......   reply

I have a really funny story about that! I met a girl at work a couple years ago and we became best friends right off the bat. Within a month or so, we knew everything about each other (which is funny since I have major trust issues...). At the time, I was 22 and I would go stay the night at her apartment all the time. We both worked the afternoon/e......   1 reply

My favorite/most common method is using the Zingbox app on my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro. The screen is a perfect size and Zingbox allows me unlimited downloads from multiple sources in most genres. You can read online without downloading, or download and read offline. It's the best! I use the same app on my smartphone when I don't have my tablet. Tha......   reply

I've read so many different ones that I've forgotten the titles of the ones I don't like. I don't bother to remember titles unless I love them or unless they've scarred me for life like Killing, Stalking... I have an 'I hate this but I can't stop reading it because it's so intense' relationship with it... (⊙…⊙ ) Or if they're super long and i......   1 reply

Sometimes incest gets me. There are a few exceptions to the rule, but for the most part, it freaks me out... Also, I hate when there's rape and the uke forgives the seme almost immediately. There are a few cases where the rape was necessary for the uke to discover his feelings, but for the most part, the forgiveness and 'love' seem forced... Pedoph......   reply

If you think about it, most yaoi is told from the uke's point of view. So naturally, you see that more. Sometimes it's from both POVs, but I don't remember a story told from only the seme's POV (off the top of my head. I'm sure they exist though)... I agree though, I hate when they cheat. Whether they are the seme or the uke. Though if it's that th......   reply

I have to admit, the first time I figured out what it was, I was like, NO WAY! And I avidly avoided it for the longest time. Eventually, I stumbled across 'Brothers' by Yamamoto Kotetsuko. I didn't realize what genre it was at first, but I read the whole thing to completion, and I was, like, HUH... And it just went from there. Now, yaoi is pretty......   1 reply
