Lol not sure when you realized it, but there was actually a translator’s note on the chapter Karon was first introduced. Miyabi kept callling her “Karon-kun”. So the note mentioned that he was using kun when she’s a girl, and that’s why she hissed at him.
I finally got to the chapter where she is revealed as Karen and dressed up at the party. So she had an official outing lol
