Calling her annoying for “letting them get away with it” ignores the fact that consequences don’t always happen immediately. Saying she won’t let them get away with something doesn’t mean she’s about to throw hands in the next panel—it means she’s playing the long game. She’s operating in a political, hierarchical setting where impulsive moves get you executed (which literally already happened to her once). Waiting, gathering leverage, and choosing the right moment isn’t hypocrisy, it’s strategy. If anything, the impatience says more about wanting instant gratification than about the MC’s intelligence or consistency.
