basically they were just reincarnated into the family of their past lover's. i personally found it confusing af cause their names are so unique it's difficult for me to remember and i get the generation thing. ig its just so there's still living people who still mourn their past lives and give an emotional impact when finding out they reincarnated
sheeesh their family trees are so confusing, i think id much prefer that they are further down the generation rather than the niece being the mother
