I think Iz's dream is about OG Ruby's first life. The one who see omerta's power and hope it will ruin her rotten family. Abusive parents, groomer eldest brother, golden child middle brother who doesn't care enough to see her suffering, and got sold 4 times. I can only imagine that she thought death is the only way to finally get that peace she yearns for because not even her 3rd husband being a duke can help her so when she arrived at omerta house, there's no hope left in her heart Although we only saw a glimpse of their moment (on top of it, at her final moment), I can see they have the potential of enemies to lovers kind of story. They argued a lot but they kind of admit they enjoyed it and if she just told him the truth, he will save her but alas, she chose death :) But she knows that her death wont be the end of her family. Worse, her death can be used as weapon if she just killed herself. So I think that's the reason she poisoned ellen to provoke Britanya and stole holy grail to make sure the downfall of her family Not saying she's not evil (killing ellen wasn't necessary) but she's too broken
