I watched the drama a few chapters in just to see how it was adapted, and I ended up loving it. I finished reading and kept thinking that I liked the drama more. But when I got to them end, I like the manhwa as well. The drama really captured the essence of the manhwa. Both the manhwa and drama have this poignant feeling from beginning to end. Even though they end up together and being happy, the reality of them not being able to marry and boast their love to their family and friends hits like a freight train. I’m happy for them but also sad. I like how the drama is a Japanese adaptation, yet it didn’t steer away from the manhwa. I did like how they took out the bullying part, but the shows how school life is in South Korea. Though I’m not saying that bullying doesn’t happen in Japan either. I just like how they focused on the two mains. I’m really happy about the drama adaptation. Besides the name changes, removal of the bullying and the tutor, it stayed true to the plot. Though, I wish they kept the tutor and Heechan’s cousin as they helped Jinhyuk come to terms with liking Heechan. I highly encourage watching the drama! The actors have done an amazing job with bringing Jinhyuk and Heechan to life. And the cinematography is so beautiful.
