Just imagine the slow and agonizing of utter defeat as well watching your home country sink themselves to the ground rather than just wiping them out instantly. Ras has the power to do so, but what fun is that than to gather more power and take away any sort of hope her family has of winning against her and her new country she married into? It's deliciously slow to watch them squirm and think they have advantages but they are grasping short straws that Ras is burning each one down to make it shorter than the last until nothing is left.
