I do agree but we do need a backstory even if it's not going to justify anything like why is he acting that way from the start. he still needs later on a BIG justification (with act, words, mindset etc.) for what pice of shit he's done but u have to remember that backstories will always be in these type of stories + it's literally the first chapter of the backstory come on xD
I've read stories will this type of characters and sometimes what you expect is too big and then you're not satisfied with the results at the end.
whereas I hope that he'll do accountability we still have to wait till the backstory ends so let's just hope this manhwa won't turn shit
It's like three chapters now, not first chapter of his backstory, did you not somehow read the other two? It's been so long ass backstory of the ml. I get it now that he's orphanage and such, that his family is ass before he came to orphanage, and for me though, it's not really making sense because why the backstory when it's different story when you make a decision in the present? We don't need the ml back story anymore, it doesn't justify what he did to the mc. I don't get why the authors loves to drop a sad pathetic backstory of an asshole ml when it's not even going to justify really what he did in the future.
I get that the ml went through something shit like that but the decision he made especially treating the mc like shit in the present, it's his fault by letting his past control him, and he should take an accountability instead.
