in the past asshole top trapped muri in the pit to be able to have a harem party without hearing muri complain. it rained so much muri almost drowned in the pit and the top performed a ritual to save him. the ritual failed because he was thinking only about what he loved about muri so muri's split in two a soul and a husk(empty body), the soul part hunted the living world until the present when he found the reincarnation of the top and what he thought was muri (the obsessive coworker that fainted twice) so when the top met the ml (the real reincarnation of the muri's body) to stop them from falling in love (he didn't want the story to repeat for "muri"), brainwashed the top into hating ml and to pay attention to the coworker basically creating all this mess because for the soul part to be able to find peace the top and the ml need to be in love with each other. the girl was a descendent of the shaman who performed the ritual in the past and because of that bad karma was trying to/forced into helping muri.
I think this is the bare minimum you need for this story, at least so far.
