idrgaf about the age gap, not my first rodeo but i will say the ml was incredibly insufferable. look, i get it, he’s got unresolved and unhealed trauma but homie you’re pushing 40. so you ghosted your bf, cut off contact for eight years and in that time frame, you had a lavender marriage and had a baby accidentally, then when you meet your ex again, you constantly reject him while still sleeping with him? also, you named your baby after your ex. okay.
i guess i’m just not a big fan of the “i love you too much and i don’t want to hurt you so i’m going to hurt you even more by pushing you away” trope. like hello? we don’t have a mouth to communicate? also hate the trope where it’s one person constantly trying and pushing while the other is reluctant to pursue anything. and i also dislike the slutty ml x inexperienced mc trope LMAO i think this story is a combination of all the tropes i hate in one.
eight years is crazy btw, you could get two different bachelors degrees within that timeframe. idk if love makes you crazy but personally, i would’ve just said “fuck that bitch!” idk how taeyang was still chasing him. don’t even mention when taeyang caught him trying to sleep with another man ugh. some ppl praised this story saying it was realistic but it was really just annoying for me. i just prefer my stories with people talking it out instead of this pushing and pulling bs.
it was only tolerable because them ending up together and becoming a family was cute. han taeyang was adorable too. i hated the buildup to their relationship but at least they were happy in the end. wouldn’t reread this, but i’d continue if there were side stories with them as a family.
