Horror movies?

I've watched them since I was very little, but never enjoyed them so I would go into a different room.
I do enjoy them now tho.

My parents never banned me from them. But they aren't a fan either. I would occasionally watch some if they are on TV at night... with my brothers.. when I was a kid (before the internet speed was good)and my parent would occasionally sit down and leave. (They arent a fan of movies either, they just arent interested...)

They never were banned for me, actually as far as I can remember when I was about six/seven years old... I played the fourth installment of the Resident Evil series by myself (not like that was a good idea, since I got my fair share of nightmares after (๑•ㅂ•)و✧)

But I kinda feel like that experience lead to me being scared of horror stuff in general, but it never was outrightly banned by my parents, not that it matters anyway since I'm over 18.

My mom would legit call out for a movie night every week so we can watch horror movies since I was a toddler. But I mean I love horror now so we still have them and the kids watch it too if they want to. So we never really banned anyone from watching them but it was the kid's choice whether or not they watch.

Dad forced me to watch Evil dead when I was 5.

Now im scared of jupscares.

My parents encourage me to watch them because they fkin love em!
