Is no one bothered by rape in yaoi?
I love yaoi, okay? Don't get me wrong. But are you seriously okay with the uke falling in love with the rapist/predator/paedo seme? Whatever the reason maybe for the seme to do it but this really really bothers me becoz most of the time it's becoz the seme is afraid to confess or some bullshit. Is it really love if you rape them? Like what? I just want to know your opinion. Is it considered okay in japan? I mean there are 11-12 year old girls reading this shit. They are going to think rape is okay. OR even consider it a form of true love. Why no one says anything about it? Is everyone aware of this risk in japan? I mean in my country this would be banned lol.
Totally depends on the setting. I'm always bothered when it isn't consensual but the parts act as if it is after a while, which means the author didn't really care about whether it's rape or not.
When it is very obvious it's rape and it makes the story interesting it doesn't bother me. If to author makes the story go further like that and it didn'...... 1 reply
