Trying to self-teach a language
I discovered duolingo online and was happy that they had Irish as one of the languages that you can learn. It has a bit of a personal connection for me because I come from a family of Irish-Appalachians. It's challenging, but I'm slowly making progress!
I can speak Filipino and English, and a 3 different dialects in the Philippines, if you count that. Currently self-teaching myself Japanese. It's hard doing it by yourself, but it's fun. Plus, I found a friend who is Japanese to help me.
