I'm shy, i need some tips
Hi! So I've been a fan of anime and manga for some time now and the thing is, I literally have no one to talk to about it, I don't know anyone that also watches or reads it.. I see a loooot of people in here with the same or similar preferences as me and I kinda want to be friend but I'm so shy and anxious, I end up not saying a word.. How do I overcome this? Have you ever been through the same..? And how did you overcome it? Pls help me, I just wanna talk, give me some tips.. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I can be shy at times and it was especially bad while I was at school (cos kids are jerks) and now I'm 23 and work in a hotel as a receptionist so I constantly interact with people now.
My advice is; Think up talking points. think of a few conversation starters for when you meet people for the first time and then hope for a conversation to...... 1 reply
I've never been a shy person,so I probably don't know...but almost everyone here is friendly and excited to talk with you.In real life,none of us has much persons to talk about anime and manga(I believe lol).It's a great thing to meet friends at Mangago.I've never seen someone spreading rumors and secrets here,nothing can happen to you my smol bean...... 2 reply
Ask them if they like anime or manga. There's a lot of people who like it, you might just not know it, when it comes down to it, what you need is just courage.

Well, at least you see that there are people that have the same or similar preferences as you, 'cause for me the most awkward part when it comes to strangers could be, "Do they like the same stuff I like, or will we have nothing in common to talk about...?" Hah. So it's good at least you know you have something you can bond with people over. I know...... 1 reply
