Japanese-American Mizuki has gotten herself into a high school in Japan...but not just any school! One of the best shoujo manga I have read. I read it when I was in elementary school and I still re reading it almost every summer now that I’m in uni.

maybe it's because i have seen the drama so my expectations are too high

I always love 90's to early 2000 manga because the plot is simple, what you called slice of life with sprinkles of fiction.

Already read this a long time ago. This is great

Even though I actually own the whole collection, i still can't help but fall in love with this manga every time. The drama was meh for me but the manga is definitely a 100/10 for me and will always be!!!

there’re so many misconceptions abt the united states in this
okay so i gave this a second chance and loved the first 120 or so chapters— after that the story started to become a boring blur— i feel like so many of the different arcs went unfinished, seems like the author was already 140 chapters in (with so many plot holes) so decided to give it a brief, unfulfilling ending.

Honestly I need a story dedicated to just the doctor then I can die happy

One of the first manga I ever read. Other manga and tv shows have tried to recreate the story but none of them have ever been able to touch this one.
