Ahhh, shit, that shouting match at chap 15 is bad for my heart *rubs chest. Few covered up the family approval issue as detailed as this manga. Showbiz drama, love rivalry at the start then the couple's everyday struggle as an open celebrity homosexual couple.

Writer w/ goatee newly moved in the neighborhood & saw a skirt flipping up... then boxers LOL. One of the best age gap manga. Talks about sexuality as well that gay=/=trans. Slow burn mutual attraction, boy's met his first crush.
to mom: I think her reaction is realistic. She's just a worried mother but misunderstood gays. I am happy the mangaka made a character development for her.

Might I suggest a manga called
"Ani no Hanashi" by Ike Reibun. I havent read it in a long time though so not sure if it goes together. You can also ignore this though if you dont want too.
