Yes it is smutty and is about fetish but the struggles of being best friends and suddenly thrown into this weird, awkward state of less-than-lovers the next day is being handled beautifully and has some depth on them, for a non-serious high school life story type this is good.

actually, both are quite tall but uke just suddenly shoot to the roof and seme had this childish idea of not confessing till he got taller and a lot of misunderstanding ensued. well, before reaching half of the story they got together anyway. it's nice that the mangaka also featured the boy's uni life after graduating.
