This is one of my favorites.
The execution of the plot and the unfolding of events was amazing.
I felt like I was watching a movie as I read this manga, and the uke’s feelings really bleed through the work. The seme deserves the best, and the uke tries so hard to bring everything back (including the seme himself).
A story about loss, time travel, and trying to fix past mistakes.
This one has a sad ending. There’s more than meets the eye for this manga, and Ogeretsu Tanaka is great at portraying angst like always.
This is about a ghost and a lonely man
This is definitely something everyone should read. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is one of the best manga out there. It has such a realistic portrayal of homosexuality, and it shows the various courses of action that people may take when it comes to crossroads regarding their sexuality. I absolutely love how it also shows the different types of reactions that they got when it came to their parents. Literally every single detail in this manga made it such a masterpiece!
This manga was great enough to get a live action adaptation.
It accurately depicts homosexuality and the struggles that the characters went through while growing up.
It will forever be one of my favorites despite how sad the ending is. What matters is that the seme and uke were happy in the end.
This has extremely beautiful art. It’s tragic since the uke has to deal with trauma coming from the loss of a loved one.
It’s angsty and bittersweet because of how the uke and seme were separated at some point in life. They redeem and mend their relationship, creating a happier ending.
The scenes with the uke coming to terms with his loved one’s death are heartwarming
I’m not a huge fan of historical manga, but this was absolutely beautiful. The story and art got me hooked. Definitely a favorite! It made my heart feel full because of its realistic take regarding how the seme had to sacrifice things to be with the uke (a bit of angst there). I loved it!
