BL webcomics, man...

SORRY FOR THE LONG-ASS POST.

So yesterday, I started reading a series called "Super Outcast", which was interesting to some degree, and I decided to visit the original site where the comic was published. I was browsing through the site and found out that it had a BL/GL section. As a fujoshi, it's quite hard to ignore, so I looked through the small selection. There were two that stood out to me, and they are called "Blood Bank" and "Royal Servant."

Now, the reason why I wanted to write about this was because I wanted to share the gloriousness that are these comics. I'll start first with "Royal Servant."

Here is the link to the comic: https://www.lezhin.com/comic/2nd_manhwaking_royal_servant

Luckily, the chapters are free and in English (only a prologue and chapter 1 though). Unfortunately, it does not state whether or not the comic will have future updates. I looked at the author's Twitter account, and it seems that there are 3 chapters out (excluding the prologue). These chapters can be found in a site called Postype and Naver, both of which will not allow any viewers under 18 to gain access (Postype requires a photo of a Korean? ID card). Anyway, the comic is so good even though hardly anything has been revealed. And the art style is effin' gorgeous.

Oh, and I also wanted to talk about Kyon, the MC. For all of those Kuroko no Basuke fans and readers of Ten Count, you can understand when I say that he freakin' looks like a fusion between Shirotani and Kuroko. I mean, seriously. He sort of acts like Shirotani, and his dead-looking eyes resemble Kuroko's. Even his profile view reminds me of Kuroko. Actually...the way Takara Rihito and the webcomic's artist draw the face in profile is quite similar in style too...Like, the face looks...long?

As for "Blood Bank", here is the link to it: https://www.lezhin.com/comic/bloodbank.
This particular comic gets weekly updates, but you have to pay for it. ^^;
Still, it's worth-reading. It's basically about a high-ranking vampire who is a closet masochist. He starts pining after One, who is a human and is resistant against vampire pheromones, and wants the two of them to participate in BDSM activities. Lol, the dude is hella horny. But the vampire has to hide the fact that he's "abnormal" because it's considered a disgrace in vampire society.

I found a Russian site that has up to 19 chapters (I don't know how the hell that is possible though)!

So, yeah. I'm frustrated with "Royal Servant" though because I want to know what happened. xD;;

I'm also quite worried about people who take the comics out from the site to translate and publish elsewhere. Lezhin has a copyright policy. There was actually an incident in MyReadingManga, in which a manga called Ijimete Ageru. by Takamura Anna, was uploaded. It was in Korean and was taken from Lezhin, and Korean viewers kept on commenting to take it down.

    I exactly agree with your every single word, dear O.M.Jeannie. 9 ep is released but unfortunately all of them are locked. And thanks for Russian site for Blood Bank :)

    Oh, yeah! They recently released the English translations over a month ago. I have up to 8 chapters unlocked. It was well worth the wait. And no problem! I kind of stopped reading Blood Bank since I want to focus on using my money on Royal Servant. Haha.
