I'm not one for Seme, but he does redeem himself because he actually knows what he's doing and feels bad for doing it. I'm just happy that the Uke has learned that his lover is a huge man child and really needs him desperately. The uke is a little naive but he's had his moments and I feel that by the ending he was really working it to get the seme back.
