Many people say, yes Haru mistook affection for love etc etc. Still if you think about it, you dont fall in love with a person straight away. Usually you talk for a while and go on a couple dates before you find them suitable to be a date mate, not even "love." I guess because it is a yaoi manga these sort of things happen but still this isnt a realistic manga at all.
