The ending was abrupt but if you think about it, the whole Orihime thing makes sense. While there was no romantic intentions coming from Ichigo, it was obvious that either Orihime or Rukia were going to end up with Ichigo. The extreme love coming from Rukia and the well developed relation with Rukia. While Ichigo has more chemistry with Rukia, the idea o him ending up with Orihime was not like crazy or anything. Rukia and Renji tho, that came out of nowhere. Like was there anything more than a bromance or siblinghood relationship between them? If you think so then u are reading too much into it. The whole them being together is just super weird and hella stupid. But they have a cute kid so i gueeess it alright......I mean...all that matters in the end is that Aizen was alive. The only character that matter at the end was Aizen. Bless him.
In my onion it should have ended when Ichigo lost his powers.

LOLOLOL! seriously, that's so true! I'm with you on the weirdness of Renji and Rukia. I actually thought it would have been better if none of them hooked up at the end if Rukia and Ichigo didnt go for it. The only two people who were really bonding was them.
