Magi is certainly very good :D the story is fast paced so you don't easily get bored and the characters are really cool too. Do read it. Vampire knight's gothic setting is it's charm point so if you like things like that with romance and triangles and circles and Hot Guys. Yes deffo.
I've read vampire knight and watched the anime. I do recommend you to read it, it has more to it after the anime, and some of the plot is not necessarily different more like tweaked.
I think the vampire knight manga is okay at first (not really my thing but it's not bad) but at some point the mangaka began to overdose on glittery and flowery stuff, so that it was really hard to interpret the drawings and every character just looked the same.
