Not if you're into the Multiverse Theory (MWI of Quantum Mechanics). If so, Main Prot here is just making a new branch/universe where Jae Ha exists. However, fiction writers don't like that because it takes away the drama aspect.

I'm exciteddddd!!!! But wait, if this is indeed ending up subscribing to the multiverse theory, then older Yeon-ho from universe 1 would be different from Yeon-ho from universe 2 which is still in high school. Even though Yeon-ho 1 was able to save Jae-ha 2, Jae-ha 1 would still remain dead in his timeline. At least Yeon-ho 2 would have a chance for happiness. But that's messed up though. Yeon-ho 1 loved Jae-ha no matter in which universe/timeline. That's so sad.
