Yeon-ho is communicating with Jae-ha through phone calls that connect to the past! The artist is just drawing Yeon-ho and Jae-ha together as if they were actually interacting and speaking with each other ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

Okay so all in all this story has touched my heart and is very cute and sad but can someone please explain the yeon situation because I don't understand... is he alive or is he some kind of ghost???? Because apparently Bae can communicate with him but HOW? Please I would appreciate if someone could explain this because I can't wrap my head around it.
