My top yaoi story ever April 22, 2017 6:44 pm

I swear I would fly to the moon and back if this would turn into anime. Sadly yaoi manga hardly ever do, especially korean BL webtoons. Really a shame there aren´t more plot lines with quality like Moritat. Those who skipped it really don´t know what they´re missing out on. I wish Yaoi authors should take note and try to be more creative when producing new stories instead of the same old plots with different characters all the time. I´ve been a yaoi fan for many years and its getting old, so I´m glad to have stumbled upon Moritat since it gave me hope that there are still some that are worth reading. I just love it how both of the main characters have flaws and neither of them is entirely innocent. But most importantly, I love how we never get to know all of their feelings/thoughts entirely. Because humans are complex and it´s near impossible to know all of their thought process. I´m sure sometimes even the creator doesn´t know Jesse´s and Law´s feelings. For example, I´m curious about what went through Jesse´s mind in ch 52 page 8 when Law told Jesse that he can go back to his "real" life and that he no longer wants him. Jesse looked shocked, did that trigger abandonment in him just like in chapter 45 when Law wanted to move abroad? It´s so damn amusing trying to figure out their feelings and motives when considering their past together. Now I understand why the author put so much effort in the chapters about their childhood. Hands down Moritat deserves an award. I´ll be on the lookout for more work from this author. I´m sure she won´t disappoint.
