Well said! Even a confession to someone you only see occasionally in class or at work is so unrealistic to me. I mean, you can have "love at first sight" - it is how I met and dated my husband - but in reality it tends to be "love at first meeting and talking". What if you confess to a good looking, complete stranger and then you realize you can't really stand their voice, the way they speak or personality? I think a confession of "I'd like to know more about you" is more realistic than just a simple "I like you. Let's date!" You test drive a car before you buy it, why wouldn't you "test drive" a boyfriend/girlfriend?
I mean you cannot go out with someone you don't know. I think its really unrealistic to suddenly confess and start dating with someone you barely know. It's good to see that they have a slow development like this!!
