The reason why Pico looks like that is because the show mainly caters to men.

The Anime Is better but all I have to say right now is that when I watched the anime I was so disappointed with the guy cuz like come on your like what 20+ and the boy is like 7 or something and your getting turned on by a little boy and not only that pico was innocent and pure boy kind of and the u go and fuck him but with all that said I like the anime and I watched all 3 and at the last episode I just had to count how many positions they did and it was like 20 my face was like O.O but either way it was a good yaoi and I love yaoi btw I'm a girl ^-^ but love it the anime was still better
