People actually say that?
It's been known for a year that there is a plan and the series will end soon. I think he said it was 17 or 20 volumes he plans on stopping at. And I think we are just now starting volume 17.
You can also feel the story starting to wind down.
i actually dont feel like its winding down. i dont know, there is just so much we need to know. what was the goal of the titan ppl who kicked the holes into the walls. whats in erens basement? i guess i could see it ending around vulume 20 but i think were in like vol 15 now cuz i have 1-13 and the online isnt much farther ahead of what i have. idk, but yes, people actually do say that. i find it hilarious. like they think the author doesn't know what hes doing XD ive had the arguement with many people.
I think there are two different titan people factions. One with the royal family the others trying to tear down the walls (or maybe going after the royal family for its secrets?), and then there is Eren and the basement.
Most series don't have set plans for beginning, middle, or end. The same with tv shows and how they can run them down with too many episodes, fillers, and seasons.
Then you get the rare gem that DO have it all or nearly all planned out like Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Broadchurch and other smaller cable shows.
So I guess I can see why...except it was pretty public that there is not only a plan but a direct outline for when the series will end.
for tv shows ya, they definitely dont really know where the story is going XD they will milk it as long as possible even if it gets dumb. but i believe most authors, or at least good ones, know exactly what is going to happen. ive been writing a 5 volume series for a while now and i could literally pick up and write a chapter from any volume. i know the events from beginning to end, they just arnt fully on paper yet.
as for my predictions for attack on titan, i think that the reason the titans tried to break the walls was to force the royal familys hands. they wanted them to finaly take action! they waited 5 years, nothing happened so they strike again. they didnt go for the inner wall when they saw that eren had the royal familys titan power. they must have realized that they didnt need to kill so many innocents to get the ball rolling. though if that were the case, it wouldnt exuse their actions. just my theory. but i have no idea what could be in the masement XD maybe just like a documentation of the events and experiments that created the titans so long ago? anad again, these are all just theories
I just was rereading this and wanted to point somthing out. to all who think this is being made up as they go, (ive had this debate with many ppl) erens dad said when he gave him the power. "when the power confuses you let their memories act as a guide"
ppl act as if the anime wasnt planned to be so popular and thats why we still dont have more and that the manga is being made up and dragged out for money. if your one of the ppl who think that, take this into consideration. do you realize how much money was spent on the anime? they dont put that much time into making an anime perfect. the music alone is incredible, they dont do that for every anime. they knew this would be awesome. its not a fluke. and it isnt being make up as we go. just because we dont know everything dosnt mean the author dosnt. there is still so much we dont understand and i cant wait to find out more details
