try read it. i think it can help you to understand more of their role. at first i'm confused too, after read it i can understand more a bit (●'◡'●)ノ
Thanks for the link) The tropes there somehow help to come to terms with this manga. Mostly. I've always liked Zero more than Kaname (don't know why, his righteousness is bordering on obsession, and I hate such heros, but still). The injustice of the situation here was killing me(((
Sorry, it's all the yaoi-fan in me. Can't help thinking about knights and horses and who's on whom now))) Lol
you're welcome. the writer there explain in neutral ways, so characters (despite being hero or villain) given the point which are their bad and good side, or whatever that makes the characters turn out that way.
me too like zero more than kaname, even kaito is more liked than kaname for me (=・ω・=)
kaname was..... his mind is so twisted but i feel poor for him. though i hate the way he treated zero, i hate yuuki more. well, basically because yuuki is supposedly matsuri hino's "justice", but the way she acted is.... to put simply, i hate kindness that just because out of "act kind", that way of life didn't survive long in real life. so maybe because her way is just seems so...unrealistic maybe?
Indeed I think the vampire knight was Kaname, I won't debate with the fans who yuuki loved more as it is never clear who she did. But kaname was the knight in my heart, his pain was believable, his actions, the way he admitted to his mistakes and made up for!them. He truly is a Vampire knight?
