With toning and drawing are you doing it on a computer? Usually you need to have the right equipment for toning paper and stuff... I usually draw mine on a tablet or computer. On computer you could go onto google images and choose an image of tone and place it on an area then cut it into shape. Using Photoshop, Paint Tool Sai and Gimp. You could do so on a tablet too using an app called Procreate (around $7.50USD) not available in some countries tho or Sketch Book / Pro for free. On paper it would be more harder for toning if you dont have tone paper. If you dont have tone paper, you could use ink and a sponge, tissue, leather ( something textury). Just add a little bit not too much or youll spoil the paper. Maybe cut out a small bit from the sponge or ect.. To use because you might tone the entire page.
For drawing wrinkles on clothes is really simple. Practice drawing some curves on some paper to get the hang of it so you dont a mistake. For drawing wrinkles on clothes, draw something like this 'つ' it curves a bit in the middle and has a nice stroke at the end. Not too pointy like this 'そ'. Just a smooth stroke.
Wow. Hope this helps.
