ok, so I don't think donating the sperm is the real problem here, because i don't think when you do, you know who is it going to or the kid when he/she is born.
The real one would be donating to someone you know and having contact with the kid. Alex himself said that if the kid wanted contact he wouldn't mind spending time with him/her and that's a big problem, because that's not supposed to be your kid. So I understand Cole not wanting Alex to like "go and have a kid" right now.
If he wanted to donated to a sperm clinic lol I don't know how it's called, I wouldn't see a problem, but to someone you know? no way
