Why do you think it's Hiou's dad? This guy was a corporate spy. Nothing about him screamed "I'm a famous actor". And it was stated that Hiou comes from a long line of famous actors. Or in his words "Three generations of super celebrities".

You don't think what he did took a lot of good acting? What makes you think he was famous 18 years ago? He could look different enough now and Saena isn't the type to pay attention to actors anyway. If you pay attention to Hiou's expressions they are Very like Kyouko's. If he is her dad maybe her ability to change drastically with each role comes from him. Kyouko being such a natural speaks to her having a connection to that world some how. Him and master D are the only two that make sense with the story so far. As for being a corporate spy, for what he needed to do (get close to Saena) he didn't need to be a business man or know anything about it. Remember he approached her as a student so in this instance an actor makes more sense. I do think he has real feelings for her witch is way he was so reluctant at the end.

I don't know about that. Wouldn't that take the focus of the story away from Kyouko to much? She would have to write at least a chapter or two on just Swans and him. That's why I think it would be someone in Kyouko's world.

I would think that at some point in the last 17 years, Saena would have seen and recognized him if Hiou's dad was Kyoko's dad. Since he is famous. Unless you are trying to say Saena pays no attention to celebrities, which could be a possibility. However it would take some major cojones to steal the data from Saena and then become a famous actor and NOT be constantly in fear that his past would be brought to light. It is an interesting theory, but I don't think it is accurate

*shrug* You could be right. It is a fun theory though. I haven't seen to many that seem plausible for Kyouko's dad and sensei likes to drop hints and tie-ins early. That's also why I said it could be Master D. He is the only character who's name has been dropped in two chapters that we haven't seen at all. The only reason I really like the idea of it being Hiou's dad is it give Kyouko a family that might except her and love her.

even if he wasn't famous 18 years ago, but hiou grandfather was already famous back then not just in entertainment but in martial arts industry too, he is well respected sensei that producer and director always consulting him first when they make some historical movie or drama. and not to mention having such a good background family, why do he feel the need to become a corporate spy. just like you said, he is reluctant at the end and even give some warning to Saena bcause he already fell for saena but still betray her. and saena friend, that genius lawyer I forgot his name, did everything he could to find him several years after but he couldnt even find a trace of him. he is good at acting, and manipulating people and didnt even left a single fingerprint, I dont think he is just become some random famous actor. with that kind of brain and skill, I think there's more to him.

Quite possibly. You are right that there is more to him. It is just a theory. Sensei hasn't really given us much to go on has she? Him not being found isn't too much of a suprise since they had nothing to go on. Even for a genius you have to have a starting point. I don't think he is a lawer tho because he would run the risk of running into Saena. I like to speculate and this was one I liked for many reasons.
