Ima be real guys, I loved the idea of turning a known villain in history into something more misunderstood. I loved the artwork. I was prepared for incest and SA, but I wasn’t prepared for this amount of SA. Every single male that Seth comes across has to SA him and it seems as though that’s the only way he remembers his past and can repent? Nah, this one made me sick too many times…. Hoping for him to have a happy ending, but I don’t think I can go on - good luck everyone
right?! that was a big issue for me too it came to a point that i got so mad and frustrated i had to put my phone down and resume reading AFTER a couple of hours lol but seriously
i just kept thinking that the reason the author put SO MANY of those scenes was to make up for the insane amount of sins he committed when he it was his 'reign'. since hes the main character we are inclined to root for him and every time i find myself doing so and wishing things would hopefully get better for him im reminded of the fact that he destroyed so many lives including some gods' lives that those wishes of mine are quickly humbled. that's why i like to think that the only (and extremely frustratingly so) way for the author to justify seth having an equal misery to those lives he ruined is by making him experience multiple SAs. besides the curse thing bc lets face it the curse and him being a demigod doesnt seem enough to kick his ass to the ground. do u get me?:( at least that's whats on my mind

It’s difficult because yes, he committed atrocities, but this story makes it seem like he was the only person or god to ever commit horrible sins… like he’s the worst person ever and only he is punished? Boooo - man it’s just hurting my soul too much ; ESP because I don’t think that was the end of his attacks ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
i agree!!! and thats why i despise isis and osiris with PASSION like osiris was a monster through and through theres no redemption for that mf but isis tho.... god the hate i have for her lmao she watched her brother (the one she claims to love so much) get r*ped by her own husband and STILL BLAMED SETH jesus i need her gone truly . seth was betrayed by everyone he loved and cherished i need the same amount of suffering on them if not more.
did you really drop this? :( i dont wanna force u out of ur limit of comfort but i hope in the future u give this a chance one last time. i can vouch that out of most of the books ive read with the same grave assaults and violence, this book and its story is one of a kind. the author makes a compelling storytelling that it really makes it worthwhile. at least for me. tho if you've completely given up on this i totally understand! nothing is more important than self-care after all

no worries! and it’s also nice to take a break once in a while. tbh the story flow is a bit slow so it will definitely take some time for more progress and hopefully by the time u decide to reread it it’s gonna make u feel better than before :)

I love this manga so much, I reread it constantly. Soo if you want something similar-ish I totally recommend Kijima-Kun = that is my absolute favorite (I even bought the manga in a different language - English isn't available yet)

I just started reading False Memories and it just kinda reminds of His Favorite just because in it the main character has a scar on his face and makes everyone afraid of him. So it made me want to reread this manga so here I am. Never Understand is also very similar to His Favorite has the whole ugly guy falling in love with the most beautiful guy in school thing.
I almost never laugh out loud, but this had me busting out every chapter- Taekyung is too much in the best way! Its a fun read and I cant wait for more!

Okay so last week I picked a non English version of this manga for $1 at a bookstore. I went on a search to figure out what it was and randomly found it on a top 40 yaoi list. I just finished reading it here: Let me just say I cried, blushed, and felt my heart twist. And even now after finishing I felt it was such a raw, but realistic story. Great read, but I dont know if I can read it again because it just struck a cord I forgot I had.
