Yea this chapter is probably my favorite just because of the character development

How come sometimes I get notifications when a new chapter is added, but sometimes don't?
I mark all of them as "read" the same way and even bookmark them, yet I seem to be missing notifications. (I noticed a few of them got updated yet I received nothing)
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
