Is it only me or does this seem like a clusterfuck so far? Like I don't understand anything,everyone has three forms some human realms,getting back and out of them,previous lives,can someone explain?
I’ll try an explain what I’ve understood so far... but please forgive me for what I call the characters since I suck at names ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
So it looks like the MC was someone powerful in this world and had an apprentice who wasn’t human -a Phoenix- , in this world everyone not human is a ‘monster’ or ‘demon’. In this world there are demons that have wings, many try and kill them so they can steal the wings to use for themselves. The Phoenix’s wings were the most powerful and she was kidnapped and when the MC found her she was dying so wanted her wings to at least be used by him, put a dagger in his hand and stabbed her self. And ever the cliche, the other disciple (I think he’s something like that) came in at that moment and thought that the MC was actually evil and killed the Phoenix willingly.
I think this is supposed to be a slow burn where the clues are revealed but by bit so how he got sent to modern times then brought back again will probably be revealed eventually.
For now it looks like the... I can’t call it ML since this is shounen Ai and their both guys... but the main partner for the MC (the demon king guy) was actually with the MC before he went to modern times. In the flashback in the recent chapter (8) where he views over the making of the sword he refers to someone, WITH A MASK ON (if that doesn’t give a really clear hint I don’t what does), as Blacky, who the MC appears close with.
I think that the MC and the other brown haired guy that he worked with in modern times is the only one that’s switched over worlds, everyone else has just been living their lives while he was gone so some things the MC knew have changed.
