Takaaki is the most cruel among all characters here, and Iwaki noticed it at the very early stage, including the fact that Takaki himself didn't notice his own innocent cruelty. I feel a bit pissed on that complication but I can still feel for Takaki. I feel pity for Kenzaki, though. He is a poor guy who was tossed and pulled all along the manga. I am amazed how the mangaka managed to maintain Takaki with his leading role image. (=・ω・=)

I think out of all the characters Takaaki is the most cruel to himself as well as others. Not through malicious intent but because he is so inconsiderate.

Though Shinkawa hurt people too. In regards to him hurting Takaaki I can understand where his insecurity comes from. However as for how he treated Kenzaki there is no excuse. He was being incredibly selfish and only thought about himself when he agreed to be with him.

On the whole I think Iwaki, Shinkawa and Takaaki all had their cruel moments and pitiful ones.

In my eyes the only complety pitiful character is Kenzaki as he was being constantly played with and used.
