Since I see that uke is respectfully following the wishes of his deceased boss even after he is no longer here, I just assumed that he looks upon his boss favourably. I mean, he even took the Dad's side when he explained the Mother's situation to seme: totally sounding like a propaganda documentary. Maybe I got it wrong? But uke was quite misleading.

I have a mentally ill sister, and I just want to say it really can be close to impossible to give them care. If the father really doubted the paternity of his son, I don’t blame him for not caring for a mentally ill gold digger.
The thing is...he doesn't even have to do it personally...he is a rich mafia(?) boss. He has the power to financially support her and also keep her away from his sight in some high-class mental hospital.
Since they already married each other. there are 2 possibilities. One is they married out of love, which will make him a dick for not even admitting her to hospital after getting fed up with her. Two is this was some sort of political marriage. Then it still doesn't make sense because...where are the family members of the wife who were even powerful enough to enter the political marriage with this rich guy? Aren't they supposed to take care of her after the guy abandoned her? And if it was a political marriage, they still need to save face so that rich father won't be able to abandon his wife and son easily like this.
And it really doesn't make sense to not run a DNA test for that young baby. A DNA test can be easily run. It will easily answer the legitimacy of his bloodline. Not like they are short on money either. Abandoning the son can mean he either didn't care about his biological son and having an heir didn't matter OR there were other difficulties aside from money to run the test. It still doesn't make sense again because...why care about this biological son now, if he didn't care in the past? Or why can they suddenly confirm his DNA now, after being separated for a long time and what happened to that difficulty in the past?
How did they even get the DNA sample? I think it's not their style to secretly break into his house and steal a toothbrush. If they had suspicions about his bloodline, they would have kidnapped him first and talked later. The father doesn't come off as a gentle type to me (after reading the comments by readers who checked the raws).
