I kinda feel sad for Clayman and his clown troupes. At least for Clayman, it seems like he found a saviour and salvation from the wrong person. Clayman is like the youngest of the Clown troupe and they are very close like real family. Sad how at the end of the day they are being used as a pawn by someone they have complete trust on and really respects.
Well… actually I think this is what going on, correct me if I’m wrong… Kara created the clowns originally and made Clayman as one of the demon lord just to gain information or some other goal. Somehow or another (it wasn’t explained yet or I forgot), Kara body got destroyed, it’s soul damaged and wander around (or captured, I can’t remember). But somehow (it wasn’t explained yet), that Manga boy managed to get Kara’s soul and revive him in a woman’s body and somehow Kara became the Manga boy’s subordinate or partner, anyway, Kara is indebted to Mangaboy. And then, Manga boy start finding and gathering the clowns, plot a plan (which still a mystery what the goal is). Since the parent (Kara) obey Manga boy, so all the children (the clowns) also obey Manga boy as their Boss. And then, Manga boy gave something to Clayman which can help him increase his power/military, in which, Clayman start getting greedy for more power/position. This also because he is thinking that because he is weakest of the clowns, he think that he need to be more powerful to stay on equal footing with his friends/siblings.
