This is my own interpretation of all the story: When you fall in love, all the world around you starts to move. You want to match with your lover and you'll do things for him, you want to be accepted.
Then if you're not enough mature you start to say that every fault you did was not only you, it was because all you feel because of others, that is not a fact: every single action you do, it's only yours and it doesn't matter who put in your mind that desicion.
Then if you find what makes you happy, what fill you completely you have to be brave and make choices: and they could include your lover or your own life.
George and Yukari chosed the same: what fill them completely even if that means the separation, what George did for show how much he loves her was amazing T___T.
At the end she conserved all those good memories thats why she said she will cry. Even whe she didn't end up whit her first love she found someone that really cares about her, and they could talk oppenly about their past, there's no secrets between them, and also she's still in contac with George (who else could given them that tickets).
That's how life should be, having goods memories with our reals lovers but knowing that if our interests are diferents and we have to choose differents ways that doesn't mean we will never find the love again.
