I once read this manga series a while back and now it keeps hauting my mind, I want to read it again but I forget name.

capture targets as in targets for the og heroine romantically, but also capture targets for her (in a non-romantic way for her siblings) since she’s yk, trying not to die lmao
she just refers to them as “capture targets” since that was what they were called in the game.
Otome games are not afraid of incest so yes, they are capture targets. Let's just hope none of that's gonna happen in this manhwa.
it said around the beginning of this manhwa that reynold and derrick are capture targets in the sense of developing a good familial relationship with them and their route wouldn't have been romantic
I agree, their favorability is towards I think a closer familial relationship, not a romantic one
In chapter 1, she said that if the Heroine get 100% favorability with any of the ML, she would get love confessions from them…
This just really confuse me
she later elaborated on what happens if the heroine were to get 100% with either reynold or derrick and it said it was familial not romantic. vinter, eclise, and callisto would've given romantic love confessions but that wasn't the case for reynold and derrick. I went back and found the page that she talked about it so here.

reynold would've been a brotherly love so there isn't change there...but derrick is little bit more complex. derrick has romantic (more so obsessive) feelings towards Penelope so his route might've not been brotherly love had she reached 100% for him. There's no way to know for sure but since his feelings for her were there...it's would've changed at least a little. This is also the reason for his abuse towards her. he's "liked" her since they met and his feelings manifested as hate...and thus began the abuse. He was obsessive (although not as obsessive as another capture target that shalln't be named) and wanted to keep her caged up. So yeah take that as you will but bottom line is that in normal mode...they are both familial love but in hard mode, reynold would've had no change but derrick's would've most likely changed.

I would also like to thank uu as well for taking the time to explain. It rules out the possibility of incest in Reynold's route. Although I guess it's not the same with Derrick. Again, hoping none of that stuff happen in this manga.
yw <33 & dw there's no incest. derrick is just a crazy mf but penelope never entertains that thought. even reynold and the duke diss him bc throughout the story bc he acts a mess. some ppl like to argue that they're not blood related but like the duke adopted her which makes it incest. but once again you have nothing to worry about in regards to incest.
yw <3 :) i get that. i hate incest in manhwa's (or any media for that matter) so it would bother me to but thankfully, we don't have to worry about that here.
