Looking for manhwa/manga/manhua/novel or any type of stories where the popular top thought that the bottom liked them (and maybe even planned to reject the uke), but it turned out to be a misunderstanding, and the top ended up falling for the bottom first.

Manga lover since the 1990s.

I grew up with paper back copies of Doraemon, Dragon Balls, Ranma 1/2, etc. Can’t recall which one was my first manga ever anymore, but my first shoujo manga was Glass Mask and first shounen ai one was Boy Next Door by Kaori Yuuki (which is pretty dark and should not have been the first one to read if you are just exposed to the genre, but oh well...). 

First ever yaoi for me was Okane ga nai. That type of plot is pretty outdated nowadays, but I still think the art style is quite nice.

I love some good shoujos and joseis like Red River (highly recommended!), but as I grew older, it is hard to find new ones that suit my taste. For the last 10 years, I find myself drawn to boy love stories more. I love stories that are funny, sexy, and sweet without being saccharine, and there are just more of them in the BL genre. 

Some of my current all time favs are Wolf In The House, Honto Yajuu, Fools, and Roommates (by Seok Yeong). If you like slice-of-life stories with fun twists, check them out!
