Ahjuicy kicking the door open to INSIDE the store is so darn funny.

I do like how the author got two different traumas and shows 2 different types of reaction on 4 characters.
While Shahid and Kinard lost all they treasured, from people to their own country, Alvin and Yesing got rooted out of their childhood security to strangers, they dealt with it on two ways.
While Kinard, instead of stopping on the mental state Alvin is, loosing everyone he loved, instead of fearing and backing away, he choose to love him, the way he is, no why's, when's ifs, he just decided to wholeheartedly love every single part of Alvin, watching him recover I'm great joy.
Alvin, who was conditioned to trust only Isaac's words, choose to trust Kinard above the man who he blindly believed for 10 years, loving and growing under the fact Kinard loves him, wants him to be himself, to grow and heal, they both choose to trust each other, not to question their feelings or fear loosing that love again.
While Shihad is frustrating to watch, you can clearly see a man with too many scars, while he says some really deep things, to then show he knows he loved Yesing not understanding that it's love for he doesn't know what love actually is, his heart compass being his penis is funny at the first glance, but actually sad for that how he measure his love with, his dick, his lust, wanting Yesing but unconsciously stay on a push-pull situation where he reaches out to take a step back, every time, from lover behavior to a parental treatment, not wanting to hurt him or himself.
Yesing on other hand has his loyalty to Kinrard on high value, he keeps wanting Shahid to stop treating him like a child, him being a child abandoned to a stranger hands, ends up pulling Shahid close to push him away when he gets an inch too close, his constant "I'm not a child" exactly when Shahid is not treating him like one a constant poke on Shahid subconscious on another push-pull mental defense mechanism, where they both love but are too afraid to reach out or take when the other reaches for them.
Kinrad and Alvin choose constantly to trust each other, while Shahid and Yesing are stuck on the roundabout trauma, not trusting themselves and the other.
It's brilliant, heartwarming and frustrating, sad and sweet, I'm not, by all mean saying it's flawless, it's frustrating and annoying to read the second couple for their blindness because from outside the trauma is very obvious, when their fear and uncertainty of what love is makes it hard to trust they love, imagine being loved.
