Ok. Guys if very few is going to be blunt about this then I will. This comment section is quite frankly disgusting. A great majority is glorifying rape by pointing fingers at the victim. So what if Doyun didn't take his pills? He just recently discovered his secondary gender and is still getting into the habit of taking care of himself as an omega instead of alpha/beta. Also, are you guys serious right now?! Because Doyun was releasing pheromones then his aggressor's actions are justified?! The aggressor is suddenly not accountable for his actions? He's excused for his actions cause he couldn't control himself? SERIOUSLY?!?!?! Anyone agreeing to this is also agreeing to claims said by assaulters such as "Her skirt was too short, I couldn't help myself! If she didn't want me to do her then she should've covered herself!" Get over yourselves. There is never a justifiable excuse for anyone to sexually assault another person.

For those of you who claim that Doyun's attacker was not in control think again. He mentions that Doyun is usually not the type of omega he's into. Therefor, he knew what he was doing and continued doing what he was doing even when he was aware of his wrong-doings !!!

Doyun is the victim.

He was sexually assaulted.

What was done was not right.

IT IS NOT HIS FAULT.

His aggressor is at fault for doing what he wanted even when Doyun said things such as "stop" and "no".

Stop blaming rape victims for what's been done to them. No matter what, they are never at fault.

PS: Preach to those who stood up and called out those making it sound like Doyun was at fault when he's not.

The premise of the story is that the alpha can't control himself. Is your thinking so sloppy that you can slosh fantasy land onto RL? You can't possibly apply this story to RL at all.
and don't be stupid. If a woman wears lingerie with her genitals exposed and "come fuck me" tattooed across her ass, then I would say she shares some responsibility for getting raped. Don't say never. Don't be a fanatic. Don't lose all perspective just because you're saying what someone told you to say..

    Quicksilver November 8, 2020 4:29 am

This is fiction. Rape is supposed to be glorified and romanticized.

    Quicksilver November 8, 2020 4:31 am

If the aggressor could not control himself, then obviously he can't be blamed.

I want to say forgive me for my example, which wasn't complete.
Somehow I lost the last part so please allow me to post the correction here with my apologies: If a woman wears lingerie with her genitals exposed and "come fuck me" tattooed across her ass, then walks down a dark alley named "rape allowed here" then I would say she shares some responsibility for getting raped.
In that first example, a woman wearing lingerie in public that exposes her genitals, even with that tattoo, I still don't think anyone should feel like they can freely rape her. I think that wearing such an outfit would be a dangerous thing to do, and I would advise against it, but I don't think it entitles men to rape her. Again, please pardon my mistake in my prior example.

I'm glad you cleared it up cause I was trying to find a proper answer to the previous statement without sounding offensive since I was like ok but "what about consent ?!" But yeah, your point definitely stands now. People should be careful not to directly put themselves in such situations by being cautious and following the safer steps in making sure they don't get attacked.

I was hasty in saying that the victim is never at fault because I was getting frustrated by the claims stating that Doyun was at fault when really the guy is new to this whole omega thing and his whole work crew is able to control their pheromones so this new alpha should have been as well? Like yeah Doyun should've taken his pills in advance but the alpha should also have shown some sort of control. Don't know if I make any sense.

I'm also not in a position to say how victims really feel about this because I definitely don't understand what they went through. So I'd personally rather not hurry in blaming them when certain situations (such as the one you stated) where the line between whose fault it is and whose it isn't can be blurry.

In all cases, thanks for the clarification, I really appreciate it.

thank you for being open-minded and civil. Wasn't there something up with that particular alpha? For some reason I think there was... maybe a reason in that alpha's constitution for why he could produce a reaction in Doyun while Doyun was pretty much immune to the other alphas. Maybe it's something Aeju will develop more, or maybe I'm off. dunno lol
Also, I think we have to be careful about absolutes. When I say someone can't control themself, I mean that they can't control themself. I'm very literal, and expect others to also be, which isn't quite legitimate on my part because I'm encountering otherwise all the time.
I think when someone says he can't control himself, instead of can't, they mean won't, or they mean it's very hard for him but he can if he really tries. That's when I get blunt with people. lol. Then everyone's mad at me. lol
I think that if we are going to grant so much grace to Doyun, the alpha should should receive equal grace. We don't need to blame Doyun in order to do that, you know?

This drives me nuts, "Stop blaming rape victims for what's been done to them. No matter what, they are never at fault." I get what you said about your frustration with people blaming Doyun. I also think that applying what happens in real life to this situation isn't valid. If it was just you, I'd probably try to discuss it with you, which would be interesting, but it seems to be everyone. I don't see society blaming rape victims so much anymore. It seems to me a problem of the past. The problem I see now is society, mostly young people, going completely to the other extreme and believing that those accused of rape are guilty no matter what, that "innocent till proven guilty" is totally wrong. They can't be bothered to realize that the language is legal as well as institutional, and that it doesn't give cause for anyone to take the law into their own hands.

Being open-minded is important for discussions such as this to be educational instead of spiteful. What's the point of lashing when we're all trying to understand how life works? Besides, I openly and freely stated my opinion in public so why shouldn't you either? You have every right to disagree with me and try to educate and correct me on things you believe I said are wrong. Just as I have every right to either accept the criticism or reject it. I'm taking your refutal to heart cause your words hold truth and are far from being unnecessary judgemental. For one to become a better person then one should be open to criticism and when being called out they should take it in stride and consider what's being said instead of be blinded by rage for being "attacked".

I guess this is where I thank you for painting a new perspective on the matter for me so thank you :)

well... you are a very nice rational person. I will lash out at times, and that's not always the way to win points with people. lol I do it anyway, but it's also how I make friends sometimes, so if I see you stating your mind in no uncertain terms, I'm sure not going to blame you for it.
I wasn't really trying to correct you so much as pointing out another way to see it, so pardon me. Your points are as valid as mine.
The artist in me liked what you said about painting a picture.

I mean, so long as you don't call me names for no apparent reasons, I will probably not have any issue with anything anyone says :'> It's when they cross a redline that they're conscious and aware they're doing that I'll start having a problem with my interlocutor. Otherwise, I'm pretty laid-back and don't let things bother me in general so feel free to "lash out" as much as you want XD

It's all good, I didn't take offence to it especially after you took the time to explain what you were trying to say!

I'm glad you liked it, I have a hard time transcribing my thoughts into words :'>
